People Power Media Fest is an annual convening for independent media creators seeking inspiration. We gather diverse media makers to participate in workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities in the spirit of community media.

This years fest focuses on the crucial need for alternative sources of media that express a diversity of opinions, ideas, and perspectives. PhillyCAM is the nonprofit designated by the City of Philadelphia to operate its public access television network.

The mission of the PhillyCAM is to provide Philadelphia residents and organizations with the opportunity to communicate with each other through the creation and distribution of non commercial media.

PhillyCAM provides residents and community organizations access to media making tools, training and opportunities for interaction between diverse communities.
