• PPM Fest KickOff: Community Media Day Live + WPPM Anniversary

    Friday, October 20 @ 5:00 - 8:00 PM // Live band performance @ 7:30 PM

People Power Media Fest kicks off on Community Media Day – a national celebration of voices that brings awareness to the importance of free speech and accessible media for all individuals to have their voices heard.

Visit PhillyCAM from 5:00 - 7:00 PM to interact with a new photo exhibit “Telling Our Stories”, a community portrait and oral history project that documents the usage and production of public access media by people of color in Philadelphia by Antoine Haywood.

Then join us in-person at PhillyCAM for the 7:30 PM live musical performance by Archpalatine, one of the freshest new artistic voices standing out amongst the backdrop of the City of Brotherly Love's artists. Archpalatine bends genre to create a new, eloquently labeled, a "Histrionic Pop " sound. Archpalatine has been named among WXPN’s “The Philly 100” list as well as a designated staff pick for ALT 104.5’s & iHeartRadio’s Year End Awards.

Watch or listen to the live radio and television broadcast marking WPPM’s 7th anniversary of being on the air by tuning in on Xfinity 66/966, Fios 29/30, WPPM 106.5 FM, or online at PhillyCAM TV.

Location: 699 Ranstead St, Philadelphia, PA 19106
